8 Years of EasyStock

From the first release (8 years ago) until now with this updated version 3 dedicated to diamond e-commerce, a total of 8 years of development have been invested.

Please take a few minutes for a visual tour around the development history of EasyStock from as early as 2003 up until today's version 3.

History of EasyStock

DEVELOPING WITH THE TIMES

Version 1 – Beginnings of E-Commerce for Diamonds
Just like countless other good ideas, EasyStock started off at a very small scale. Initially, it was intended to give a solution to web sites we designed for customers who requested e-commerce solutions.

Each system was designed and developed in a unique way according to individual customer needs. Features were severely limited at that time, only elementary procedures like a simple display of the stock were supported just to show off inventory.
The name EasyStock was selected with the exclusive purpose of the easy and user friendly way to promote diamond business on-line.



Version 2 – Diamond Inventory Software with Extended Capabilities
Version 2 marked a turning point in the history in diamond trading on company internet sites. Version 2 was the first complete re-write of the EasyStock code base. In 2006, after 3 years of continuous development version 2.0 was launched.

Version 2 introduced a built-in web site with an independent content management system and introduced new features while at the same time resolving known issues, improving the product quality considerably and becoming a Diamond Inventory Software with extended capabilities allowing to list and sell loose diamonds with a built-in E-Commerce website.


Version 3  - Exponential Curve as Technologies Developed
Another 3 years of development down the road, we are proud to finally announce the brand-new version 3.0. This release was developed exclusively for e-commerce with an easy way of putting your business online and maintaining it successfully.

Version 3.0 introduced several new features like new diamond search engine with sliders, diamond comparison, optimization module and most of all finished jewelry support. Version 3 was another complete re-write resulting in an overall flexible, clearly structured and an advanced powerful application for the benefit of the end-user.

Today, EasyStock 3 is really user-friendly in the total sense of that concept. It is a powerful e-commerce solution for diamonds and jewelry – one that will accommodate all of your online requirements for image control, online diamond trading, marketing, public relations, publicity, corporate branding, and your personal branding agenda.
